Overview
We study the effectiveness of public financing incentives for low-carbon technologies, the design of blended-finance structures that mobilise private capital, and the specific financing needs of climate technologies across different country contexts.
Grounded in economics, finance, public policy and technology studies, our team combines econometric analysis, financial modelling, network analysis and stakeholder interviews to produce peer-reviewed research, policy briefs and expert insights. Through workshops, convenings and collaborative research, we engage African policymakers, project developers, investors, multilateral development banks and philanthropies so that evidence directly shapes how energy finance is designed and deployed across the continent.
